Animamundi is great ^_^ I should have included that on my list. I feel it's a cross between soft BL and otome, with the emphasis on the story, which I really love. My favorite characters are St. Germant (so adorable and sweet <3 and totally Georik's OTP) and Mephistopheles (demons are hot, 'nuff said). The endings are all very touching. Since Hirameki already has an official translation, I recommend people play it ^^ the story is definitely not your conventional dating sim and has a lot of gothic overtones...you'll be drawn in, I guarantee it.
Animamundi is LOVE. LOVE I SAY. On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 1 being horrible and 10 being Togainu no Chi) it gets a 9 in my book. The only thing I didn't like about it was the art.
My favorite character is Bruno. Koyasu Takehito really made the character. Also I'm a sick fuck XD I couldn't stop giggling when he introduced his "children" to Georik
St. Germant is a close second with Georik right after. All of the characters are so great, well written and well cast (best seiyuu cast in a game ever) you just can't help but love them. The only character I don't like is Sandwich (he can just BURN
).
I played it in both English and Japanese XP The "patch" is basically just replacing the modified *.swf files with the originals from the Japanese version...I don't think there were many changes to the script itself. Then again, I can't read Japanese, so I wouldn't know.
The Official patch fixes the game enough to make it playable but it's still really really buggy. The decensor patch only affects the images, not the script.
If you still have it could you share your english save file?
I'd like to compare the differences between the CG's but i don't feel like playing it currently.
The decensor patch just replaces the Pictures. If you played the English version you can just install it and use your own saves. It won't replace the thumbnails but the CG's in your gallery will be the uncensored ones. You could also get a CG set somewhere
